From the suburbs of Seattle, Washington, I grew up with a pencil in my hand and a creative fascination.   Computer graphics programs like Photoshop 5.5 and Microsoft Image Composer caught my eye at a young age.  I created websites from Netscape and GeoCities and captured videos during middle school.  On the doorstep of such big-name corporations as Nintendo of America and Microsoft, my creativity for technology thrived.  It has always been my dream to work in the design industry, where creative projects are done every day regardless of tough challenges.
My academic background is rooted in user-centered design, UX research, design thinking, NN/g methods and strategies, UX consultation, design principles, branding, and collaboration on both online and in-person team projects. Additionally, I have engaged in sociological and psychological study and research, and I keep abreast of the latest trends in web and mobile application development, drawing from my experience in website creation since 1995. I also have expertise in 3D modeling using Maya and Blender, fabrication printing and development, as well as videography, including producing and directing.
Currently, I am a student in the Master's program at the University of Washington, specializing in Human Centered Design and Engineering. My previous educational endeavors include earning an undergraduate degree in Design Theory and Application from Lake Washington Institute of Technology, coursework in Digital Media at Bellevue College, Animation and Production classes at Digipen, and CNA classes at Olympic College.
Outside of academia, I lead a multifaceted life. As a member of the theatrical combat troupe Seattle Knights, I specialize in ground fighting with live steel and metal armor. I am also deeply involved in charity work, particularly within local Star Wars costuming groups, where I dress up as various characters. Among my hobbies, I enjoy painting, photography, sewing costumes, listening to audiobooks, and gaming.
In my leisure time, I am an active participant in various sports activities, including climbing, sword fighting (such as in HEMA or Kendo), various martial arts, running, and VR fitness experiences. In the past, I have also engaged in parkour, played soccer, and volleyball as part of organized teams.

Whether the project is for marketing ventures or communication solutions, my goal is to create high quality and memorable work. I balance creativity with a strong analytical mind, exceptional attention to detail, and inclusion for all.
Consistency and quality are important in product design, ensuring the best outcome for consumers.  The various techniques that I have studied range from 2 & 3D animation, character design, lighting, texture, and environmental art. I truly have a passion for art and computer graphics.
With a big-picture focus, I provide clear feedback and input. I am a team player and enjoy the pressures and challenges that come from being under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
